ASFAs 2025 Designer Call
Showcase Your Craft on Africa’s Biggest Fashion Stage
Kampala, Uganda — The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFAs) 2025 is officially calling upon visionary fashion designers across Africa and the diaspora to submit their applications for a chance to showcase on the ASFAs Runway—one of the continent’s most prestigious fashion platforms.
Whether you’re an emerging talent or an established name in the industry, ASFAs 2025 is your opportunity to present bold, original, and world-class collections to a global audience of buyers, media, stylists, celebrities, and fashion tastemakers.
“The ASFAs were created to spotlight Africa’s dynamic and diverse fashion identity,” says Brian Ahumuza (Abryanz), Founder of the ASFAs. “We’re not just looking for designers—we're looking for storytellers. Designers who can speak to the moment while reimagining the future of African fashion.”
The 2025 showcase promises to be bigger, bolder, and more global, cementing its position as the fashion industry’s gateway to African excellence.
“This is the stage where raw talent meets opportunity,” adds Joram Muzira, Creative Director of JMM and longtime ASFAs collaborator. “We’re looking for brands with soul, direction, and a design language that’s unmistakably theirs. This is your moment to command the spotlight.”
Eligibility
Open to both emerging and established designers.
Applicants must operate an existing brand or label (minimum 1 year).
Designs must reflect originality, creativity, and top-tier craftsmanship.
Participants must cover the Designer Showcasing Fee upon selection.
Submission Requirements
Send a complete designer profile including:
Biography/brand profile (max 1 page).
Portfolio of 8–10 looks (editorial, campaign, or runway).
Runway collection concept for ASFAs 2025 (minimum 20 looks).
Links to website and/or social media showcasing past work.
